Mike checked in from the Tribute out of San Diego. Just another really, really good day of bluefin fishing, to say the least. Actually, they got to the point where we couldn't get away from them. We ended up with limits of bluefin, one dorado, five really nice yellowfin, and a couple handfuls of bonita. We spent a few hours trying to weed through bluefin to get some yellowfin. We ended up getting our little stop later on in the day. In the process, I don't even know what we released, 70 or 80 bluefin, and most of them are 25 to 35 pound fish trying to catch a yellowfin. All-day action, no problem getting our limits, and then just a lot of catch and release, which the guys have an absolute blast. There's no shortage of action throughout the day. Mike checked in from the Tribute out of San Diego. Off to another great start here. Oh, actually running on a spot of breaking fish. First thing this morning, stopped in the dark. Got a double jig strike in the dark, which is very common. But 20 bluefin out of our first stop, up to about 30 pounds for our 18 anglers, a little over one around. Mike checked in from the Tribute out of San Diego. We are off to a good start here this morning for the first offshore trip of our season. We had very, very nice weather. It is flat and calm. We are up to 22 bluefin for the morning up to 50 pounds, with the average fish probably around 30 pounds. We are having very, very good fishing and are off to a great start. With the way things have been going on lately around the world, I’ve decided to drop our trip price by $20 on our 1.5-Day early departure trips. $555 instead of the $575 we had up. We have our fingers crossed that the price of diesel will start to drop soon, but this should help out a little bit.

There was good sign of bluefin outside Colonet last trip! They found them late and lost the only one hooked, but, you never know.

Mike checked in from the Tribute out of San Diego. Good afternoon. We are wrapping up our final trip here of the 2025 season, and it did not disappoint! It was pretty much similar to what we had last weekend. We had really, really good bluefin fishing here this morning. We ended up with limits of bluefin for passengers and crew. We then went and looked around for some yellowtail, but there was not much sign. We actually had a hard time staying away from the bluefin, which I know sounds crazy, but we kept trying to fish for yellowtail, and bluefin kept getting in the way. We finished our afternoon with limits of reds, some sheephead, whitefish, and a bunch of rockfish to go with it. It was an awesome way to finish the season. It doesn't really get any better! We will be doing some maintenance for the next couple weeks, and then we will start our Colonet trips on January 9th. Make a reservation if you'd like to come out and get in on that action.
