Mike checked in for the Tribute out of San Diego. The Tribute returned from a 1.5 Day trip with 19 Bluefin tuna and 4 Yellowfin tuna for their group of 22 anglers. Most of their bluefin were in the 100 to 180 pound range.

Mike checked in for the Tribute out of San Diego. As two wise young men once said, "the dishes are done." We knocked out limits for our passengers. We're gonna try to pick at a couple of bigger ones here in the afternoon. Very very good fishing--good fishing on big ones in the dark. We got on some spots here in the afternoon -- a lot of fish in the  30-50 pounds range. Fish last night and early this morning were in the 100-150 pound range. Very nice weather and very good fishing throughout the day for 18 guys. We put number 36 on the boat, and we're gonna see if we can knock out a big one on the kite and see if we can go find a yellow tail or two for the afternoon. The first offshore trip for the season worked out pretty good.  Mike has the current fish report for you below.

Mike checked in for the Tribute out of San Diego. Very good fishing! We made a move and we have about 4 to 5 fish hanging, they got about a dozen out of this one. They have a little over 21 fish for the morning, and the last batch is in the 25-60 lb range. As soon as the boat stopped they wanted to bite, everyone had one hanging within seconds. These trips do not require a passport and still have plenty of availability for those looking to get out and score some of the first Bluefin of the season. Mike checked in for the Tribute out of San Diego. First trip of our season--Colonet Trip. It was very very good fishing and very nice weather to go with it. We ended up with limits of very nice reds with a little over 20 lingcod, some sheephead, whitefish, and a couple of yellowtail to go with it. We finished off the rest of the bags with rockfish.
