Mike checked in from the Tribute out of San Diego. We had pretty darn good fishing last night, and a pretty good sign of fish this morning as well, with flat, breezy, calm weather. We have 43 Bluefin for our 26 anglers and up to about 100 pounds. If you're savvy with the heavy jig, I know one of the ladies on the boat managed to get 3 fish, one being a 90-pounder. We're having very very nice weather, almost too nice, which resulted in a lot of tangles. But we're on the first day of our 3-day Drago Custom Rods-sponsored trip, so off to a good start. Had a little bit of action, we had 19 bluefin here for our night, very mixed group of guys, if you could fish I think that you can get your jig down there and fish it properly. I think you had a pretty good shot, a couple guys that got their limit out of it, but a very, very good sign fish up to about 60 pounds. We're gonna make a move here to add a little more fishing time to our morning. Mike has the current fish report for you below.

Limits last trip and they are up to 71 for this trip with fish up to 260 pounds. 40 fish yesterday/ last night and the daytime fish are snapping as well. The daytime fish are in easy 1-day range, and we have a couple coming up at the end of the month.

Very good night time opportunity last night 41 bluefin 60-240 pounds, made a move around 3 am got down to the local zone around 7:30 am and got onto a daytime school. We had 35 fish off of that, seeing plenty of fish to catch during the daytime here, we're up to 76 bluefin for our trip.

Ian checked in from the Tribute out of San Diego. We currently have LIMITS of bluefin tuna (60) for our 30 passengers on our 1.5-day trip. The fish are 25-40 pounds. We got it done in one drift during daylight hours. We are on the hunt for yellowtail now, and we will keep you guys updated.

Mike checked in from the Tribute out of San Diego. Almost forgot to post the rest of the pictures after all the fun with the last 2 videos we posted. A bit slower night across the board, but we fared extremely well with 31 Bluefin to 140 pounds. Most of which came during a stellar 2-hour bite where the guys got their butts kicked and some learned that 80 pound just wasn’t enough.
