Tonight's 1 1/2 day trip is a go! Very light load so far and bluefin fishing has been good with some Yellowtail mixed in. Bring gear from 25-100 pound as well as assorted jigs, sinkers and fluorocarbon.

A good sundowner on bluefin for another 17, for a total of 23 Bluefin (mostly 30-60 pounds) and 35 yellowtail for the day. Make sure your gear is in good working order, there were lots of casualties today.

The Tribute out of San Diego checking in with a noontime update. So far they have 15 Bluefin on board up to 160 pounds with a high casualty rate. Most fish are in the 40-pound range and the weather is getting nicer.
