Yellowtail fishing was slow this time around, with plenty of signs but only one taker. Ended up with 1 yellowtail, 72 lingcod, 102 red snapper, and 133 other mixed rockfish!

They got one yellowtail on board and went to capitalize on some rockfish. So far, they've had caught some quality lingcod up to 17lbs. Check back in later for another update!

The Tribute out of San Diego reported in from the second day of their 2.5-Day trip with 32 yellowtail on the boat for the morning. The yellowtail are being caught on blue and white 6x Jrs. They are also having good bottom fishing.

The Tribute crew called in a catch update of 14 Yellowtail up to 14 pounds on board and excellent bottom fishing on Day 1 of their 2.5 Day Baja Coast Trip. Captain Tyler reports excellent weather, good fishing current, and an excellent sign of Yellowtail & Rockfish. Dropping Yoyo-style jigs were the hot technique for catching these Yellowtail.
